Delivery of Induction Hardening Machine for Outer Race to Russian Customer
Recently, the induction hardening machine for outer race customized for our Russian customer successfully passed strict acceptance tests and has now been carefully packed and shipped. This marks another successful delivery of advanced heat treatment equipment and reflects our firm progress in expanding into the international market.
The machine adopts a dual-station through-type structure, consisting of an inner cavity hardening station and a spline hardening station:
Inner cavity hardening station: Equipped with a three-jaw hollow chuck to clamp the workpiece shank or upper outer circle. During hardening, the workpiece rotates while the inductor remains fixed, ensuring stable and uniform energy transfer.
Spline and shaft hardening station: The workpiece rotates while the lower support positions it via the inner bore slope and end face, with the upper center applying pressure. This ensures high precision and reliability, particularly for complex outer race components.
The dual-station configuration not only improves production efficiency but also meets the hardening requirements of different parts of the workpiece, reducing changeover time and labor involvement.
The machine is equipped with the Siemens 828D CNC control system, enabling fully automatic execution of hardening programs and minimizing human error. It also integrates a process data monitoring system for real-time monitoring, recording, storage, and printing of process parameters. This ensures full traceability and helps customers establish standardized quality systems and optimize their heat treatment processes.
The machine features a separated quenching fluid tank design, where the tank is independent of the machine bed. Quenching fluid is circulated back to the filtering system via a dedicated pump for efficient reuse. This design extends coolant life, ensures process stability, and supports environmental sustainability.
Additionally, the equipment is equipped with an internal circulation cooling system (HKSL-350) for machine cooling. Using softened or distilled water, the system includes one stainless steel water tank, one main pump, and one booster pump. All pipelines are made of 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. The digital temperature control system allows precise water temperature settings (25–35°C), while the inductor benefits from high-pressure cooling. This ensures stable performance even under heavy-duty operation, extending equipment life and reducing maintenance costs.
Clamping part length: 60–260 mm
Workpiece rotation speed: 50–300 rpm
Workpiece diameter (ring part): φ60–130 mm
Workpiece diameter (shaft part): φ25–60 mm
Maximum workpiece weight: ≤3 kg
These parameters allow the machine to accommodate a wide range of outer race components, providing both flexibility and efficiency.
The successful delivery of this induction hardening machine for outer race demonstrates our company's strong technical capabilities and commitment to quality. Once in operation, the equipment will help the Russian customer significantly improve the efficiency and quality of heat treatment for outer race and shaft components.
This delivery not only represents a successful project completion but also strengthens our competitiveness in the global market. Looking ahead, we will continue to adhere to the principle of "Professional Quality, Credibility First", providing customers worldwide with efficient, intelligent, and reliable heat treatment solutions, while contributing to the intelligent and green transformation of the equipment manufacturing industry.
