Hobbing cutters are produced in bore or shank type (rod), with single or multiple threads, and with accuracy classes generally ranging from A, AA, AAA.

According to whether or not coolant is added during cutting, they are categorized into dry cutting hobs and test cutting hobs.

 

The usual range of machining is as follows:

1. Type: hole and shank

2. General range of module: 0.25 to 33

3. Diameter control DP range: 0.75DP to 100DP

4. Maximum diameter: 330mm

5. Maximum length: 380mm

6. Accuracy class: AAA, AA, A and B according to DIN3968.

7. Material: S390/ASP2052/ASP2030/S290 /ASP2060/M35/M2

8. PVD coatings: TiN, Alcrona Pro and Altensa.

 

1.Involute Spline Hob

 

Usually, the standards of involute spline hob are: DIN 5480, DIN 5482, ANSI B92.1, B92.2, BS3550, GOST-6033, GBT3478 and so on.

 

2.Rectangular spline hobs

The production of hob is in accordance with various standards (DIN 5461, DIN 5462, DIN 5463, DIN 5464, DIN 5465, DIN 5471, DIN 5472, DIN 9611, ISO 14, UNI 220, UNI 221, UNI8953, GB/T1144-2001) and so on.

 

3.sprocket hob

1. According to various standard and non-standard forms, we produce hob for automobile and industrial roller chains.

2. General sprocket pitch range: 76.2 mm.

4.Worm gear hob

The most important thing about worm gear hob is the type of worm gear, such as ZI, ZN, ZK and ZA, with single or multiple holes and shank types, and the lead angle is generally up to 45°.
